Carry on bag recommendation?

Hi everyone. I am going for a weekend trip to Vegas with friends and need to replace my old and tattered carry-on with something nice looking and high quality, preferably from a known luggage brand. I am looking for a soft-sided suitcase and would like it if it wasn’t too heavy. At the same time, I don’t want the cheap variety that can rip in the middle of a trip. A shoe pocket to separate footwear from clean clothes would be nice, but not necessary. As far as size is concerned, I want something that will easily fit in the overhead compartment. I certainly don’t wish to start my holiday receiving angry glares from my co-pengers. Suggestions?
