Forgot Jury Duty Confirmation Form and Jury Duty!?

I received in the mail a month ago my summon to jury duty. I was excited about it, so naturally I planned to go. I filled out my Juror Confirmation Form, but since it was in the middle of a busy time ( Graduation/ Senior Week- I was an officer so I was organizing these events) I totally forgot to mail it! I found my letter today, and my jury duty was today too! I'm scared now. Am I going to get fined? I can't afford $2,000, I have tuition to pay Go to jail? What should I do? I live in Machusetts, and I read on the newspaper that the trial I was suppose to go to was a big murder case...I'm really scared. Help?!
