Money for Nothing and the Bullets are Free? ?

Why are social programs, roads, schools, and fire departments the responsibility of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? When will liberals learn to take personal responsibility and realize that these social programs, roads, schools, and fire departments are the responsibility of the local city, county, and state government (and the people that live in the local city, county, and state). National defense, on the other hand, is a responsibility of the Federal Government.
